WHY AN ONLINE RESUME?
The decision to begin applying for employment while living in England posed a problem for me. It was necessary to create an open line of communication between myself and prospective employers residing in Canada. The solution was to create this web site, including my online resume, to ease long distance contact. Formatting my resume this way affords you, the potential employer, the opportunity to access information regarding my education and training immediately. If you feel I meet your requirements, my contact details are available for more specific dialogue. It is my hope that reading my resume is an enjoyable and informative experience for you. 
Growing up in rural Manitoba has taught me valuable lessons in having a sense of community and being a team player. In villages like Rossburn ones actions do not go unnoticed. I found to be a valued member of the community I needed to respect others opinions and work harmoniously with many diverse individuals.This attitude has carried me successfully through numerous sports organizations and my post-secondary education in the Bachelor of Education program at the University of Manitoba. After graduating from university in September of 2000 I found myself belonging to yet another small community of ex-pat teachers in Leeds, England. I have been integral in helping welcome new teachers, while continuing my career as an educator. Over the past three years I have also managed to explore much of Europe and the Middle East. |
